| At the southern end of Anniviers' Valley the resort of Zinal is located at 1670 m, at the feet of the Imperial Crown dominated by theWeisshorn (the 4th European highest summit with its 4'506 m). As well ideal for sports as for families, Zinal invites you to be discovered in all seasons. Departure point of several hikes, Zinal will attract you naturally towards its summits. A place where it is nice to make a stop, offering to mountain lovers, to sports lovers, but also to families or simply to visitors looking for a nice meal, an oasis of happiness.
In winter Zinal means 70 km of alpine ski slopes, 19.5 km of cross-country skiing, a freeride area, a snowpark, an avalanche training center, many snowshoes hikes, a free flight school, an ice skating rink, a swimming pool ... and only one skiing pass for all the ski runs of Val d'Anniviers, Grimentz - St-Luc - Chandolin and Vercorin (220 km of ski runs).
In summer, Zinal means 300 km of pedestrian trails, mountain bike itineraries, paragliding flights, 5 huts, 2 tennis grounds, a minigolf, a swimming pool, games and picnic areas, a Copper Mine ... If, instead of the atmosphere of a resort close to the eternal snow, you prefer the peace of middle mountain villages and sceneries, you would stay in the nearby villages. Located between 1'300 and 1'600 m, they have very colourful names such as : Pralong, Mottec, Ayer, Mission, Cuimey, La Combaz, Les Morands. Only at a few kilometers from Zinal they all offer another way to discover the Valley.
