A great example of the history of the mining industry in the Anniviers valley, the La Lée Copper Mine takes you into the heart of the history of men and copper and in the captivating adventure of mining in the Alps.
In the mine many didactic pannels give information on the miners, their work and explain how Alps were born.
Come and discover the Mine during our Copper day which will take place on saturday the 1st september 2007. At this occasion, free guided visits in French, German, English or Italian will be available during all day. |

Educational footpath situated in the ‘Zau Zoura’ forest uphill from the village of Ayer. A pleasant 3 km (1 to 3 hours) walk, discovering the rich diversity of the forest and its fauna and flora through the seasons. Along the path there is an observation post, which will allow you to observe the animals that have chosen this forest to live in. |
