Zinal, the families resort |
|
Since a long time Zinal is considered as a resort specially welcoming and suitable for families. In 1998 Zinal has been rewarded with the quality recognition "Families Welcome", attributed and renewed by the Swiss Tourism Federation.
In winter, Zinal means for families : a snow area especially thought for children and provided with a special children minilift, a swiss ski school, a nursery located in the village for children fron 18 months on, a natural ice rink, a public covered swimming pool and many different weekly activities.
In summer , Zinal means for families : a small animals parc, two tennis grounds, a football ground, a swimming pool, a minigolf, playing grounds, picnic areas and different weekly activities.
Zinal has recently choosen a reduced traffic in its center, in order to create a more friendlyarea for guests and families. The authorised speed inside the village is 20 km/h and parking is possible only for 60 minutes maximum. Parking places are avalaible at the entrance and exit of the village.

Mugs wait for your children, from 18 months on, from Sunday to Friday from 9am to 1.30pm or from 9am to 3pm.
Every time that the weather is fine, activities will take place mostly outside.
The kids garden is closed on Saturday. |

Swiss Skiing School |

A marvelloussnow garden has beed specially organised for children wishing to learn skiing in nice conditions.
A special children miniliftMinigliss is avalaible and will make their skiing lessons easier. At the same time in case of cold weather or long stops, a chalet has been specially built for them.
Those who wish to improve will be able to take skiing lessons with an instructor. |

Animals parc and Mirador |

Sitting by the pond at the Tsoucdana, children will be able to observe many different animals living in this small heaven.
If they are more attracted by the wild fauna, "Le Mirador", a fauna observation spot located right on top, will allow them to watch easily many animals living in the surroundings .. if they are in sight of course.l

La Lée Copper Mine |

From July to September the Copper Mine attracts many visitors. It is a great opportunity to go deeply into the heart of copper and miners history, into the Alps miners adventure. Follow the galleries on 500m into the mountain. Didactic panels explain how miners were working and how the Alps were born. Guided visits on reservation at the Tourism Office. |
